Germany’s highly sought-after DAAD EPOS scholarships are now open for applications for the 2025–2026 academic year. These fully funded postgraduate scholarships are designed for professionals from developing and emerging economies who aspire to pursue a Master’s or PhD in Germany. If you’re a degree holder with at least two years of relevant work experience, this is your opportunity to advance your education and contribute to sustainable development in your home country.
The EPOS programme supports candidates from all academic backgrounds. Successful applicants receive a monthly stipend (€992 for Master’s, €1,300 for PhD), travel allowance, health insurance, and additional support like rent and family subsidies. Scholarship durations vary from 12 to 42 months, depending on the program.
Over 30 leading German institutions are offering programs through EPOS in areas like environmental management, public health, engineering, education, and economics. Application deadlines differ by university and program—ranging from August 2025 through March 2026.
