The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship 2025 offers a fully funded opportunity for students and in-service teachers interested in studying Chinese language or teaching in China. Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) is now accepting applications for the September 2025 intake.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- Free on-campus accommodation or a monthly living allowance of RMB 700 for off-campus housing
- A monthly stipend of RMB 3,000 for master’s students and RMB 2,500 for students in one-year or one-semester programs
- Comprehensive medical insurance, with an annual premium of RMB 800 for programs longer than a year and RMB 400 for one-semester students
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be a non-Chinese citizen aged 16 to 35 years old (in-service Chinese language teachers can apply up to age 45)
- Be in good health with no academic or legal infractions
- Have a strong interest in Chinese language education
- Adhere to Chinese laws and university regulations
Application Process and Deadline
The application process is currently open. Candidates must:
- Submit their application via the ZJUT online portal by May 5, 2025
- Complete the final submission through the official CIS website by May 15, 2025
