Interns will engage in a range of activities, from conducting experiments and building prototypes to designing advanced architectures. The research covers diverse fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, machine perception, data mining, natural language understanding, privacy, computer architecture, networking, operating systems, and data management. Interns are also encouraged to contribute to academic research by publishing their findings.

Google continuously enhances its search engine, cloud computing solutions, and data analytics platforms, providing interns with hands-on experience in shaping technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to develop innovative solutions.
• Design and build software applications to enhance Google’s products.
• Work on projects involving artificial intelligence, natural language processing, data compression, machine learning, and search technologies.

Eligibility

• Must be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in at least one area of Computer Science, such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, Computer Vision, or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C/C++, Java, or Python.
