Fully Funded Masters in Global Nursing Leadership Scholarship 2027 at University of Global Health Equity

The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is now accepting applications for the Masters in Global Nursing Leadership (MGNL) Program – Class of 2027. This two-year graduate program is designed for registered nurses who aspire to lead healthcare transformation and promote global health equity.

About the Program

The MGNL program, offered by UGHE’s Center for Nursing and Midwifery, equips experienced nurses with advanced leadership and policy-making skills to address healthcare disparities. The curriculum includes 80% online learning combined with in-person sessions held at UGHE’s Butaro campus in Rwanda, allowing nurses from around the world to participate.

Scholarship Coverage

Selected scholars will receive full tuition support along with:

• Housing and meals on the UGHE campus
• Coverage for academic-related activities (e.g., field trips)
• Transportation to and from UGHE for in-person sessions
• International travel and visa expenses
• Accommodation and meals outside the campus
• Scholars will need to cover personal expenses, toiletries, and internet costs.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, candidates must meet both UGHE’s general admission requirements and specific MGNL eligibility criteria:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution
• Have 5–7 years of professional experience as a registered nurse
• Maintain an active, unrestricted RN license
• Submit a support letter from their employer
• Provide two professional references
• Submit a comprehensive CV
• Write a statement of purpose outlining their leadership vision
• Provide notarized copies of academic transcripts
• Demonstrate English language proficiency
• Successfully pass an entrance exam and interview

International candidates must also secure an HEC equivalency certificate in Rwanda.
