Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has opened applications for its 2026 scholarship programmes, offering a range of tuition support options for both undergraduate and graduate international students. Instead of a single full-ride award, the university provides multiple scholarship categories designed to make study in Dubai more financially accessible across different student profiles.
The available scholarships include academic excellence awards, sports scholarships, special talent funding, financial hardship support, special needs scholarships, and institutional study-based discounts. This flexible structure allows students with varied strengths—not only top academic performers—to access tuition reductions.
For the Fall 2026 intake, the university’s Study Scholarship provides up to a 10% tuition reduction for eligible students. While this is not a full scholarship, students may combine multiple awards depending on eligibility, with total reductions capped at 60% of tuition fees.
The scholarships apply to both undergraduate and graduate programmes and are open to all nationalities, provided applicants meet admission requirements at Canadian University Dubai.
To maintain eligibility, students must enroll in a minimum course load (typically at least 12 credit hours), meet payment deadlines, and maintain the required cumulative GPA throughout their studies. Scholarships are also not applicable during summer semesters.
Unlike fully funded international scholarships, CUD’s funding model is designed to support affordability and student access rather than fully cover all study costs. This makes it particularly relevant for students seeking an international education experience in the UAE with reduced financial pressure.
Dubai’s growing position as a global education and business hub has increased interest in universities like CUD, especially among students from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East looking for alternatives to high-cost Western destinations.
